A significant achievement for a company of Crimppi’s size
“We’re proud to have reached the Bronze level. For a company of our size, without a dedicated sustainability organisation behind us, this represents a major accomplishment – and it required a considerable effort from our team,” says Heli Toppinen, General Manager at Crimppi.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most recognised sustainability rating platforms, assessing thousands of companies worldwide – from global giants to SMEs. For Crimppi, the rating is both a benchmark and a tool for improvement.

Stronger reporting brings results
This was the second year Crimppi took part in the EcoVadis assessment, and improved reporting has already helped the company advance to Bronze.
Although the rating is a strong achievement, Crimppi sees it as only a starting point. “We are already close to the Silver level. Our long-term goal is clear: to reach Platinum by 2030,” says Toppinen.
To get there, the company will continue to strengthen all aspects of its sustainability work, with a particular focus on responsible procurement and transparent data. “One step in this direction is that we’ve introduced the supplier collaboration platform Jakamo, which has already been a tremendous help in collecting sustainability information across our supply chain,” Toppinen adds.
Proof for customers and partners
The EcoVadis rating provides customers and partners with independent confirmation of Crimppi’s sustainability performance.
“For our customers and suppliers, it’s a valuable third-party validation of the responsibility work we do every day. As sustainability becomes an increasingly decisive factor when companies choose their partners, the rating gives them extra confidence in working with us,” Toppinen notes.
With Bronze achieved, Crimppi is determined to keep raising the bar – step by step, towards its 2030 goals.
