Human rights
All our partners must follow the UN Declaration of Human Rights, the treaties of International Labour Association and the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact. They are also committed to take care of the health of their employees, visitors and other people affected by their operations.
Environment
The environment must be protected. Environmental pollution and adverse environmental impact must be prevented. All waste should be separated according to laws and manufacturer’s guidelines. Representatives for suppliers or third parties are also undertaken to ensure that materials and products delivered do not contain conflict minerals from DRC area, unless they are certified as conflict free.
Corruption
Crimppi has an absolute zero tolerance of corruption and bribery. We never offer, pay, ask for or accept bribes. Our suppliers and partners are also committed to this: they do not support or engage in any business operation that would give the impression of bribery, corruption or other activities that maintain a fraudulent way of operating.
Protection of property and information
All suppliers and partners must treat all information received from Crimppi or Crimppi’s customers confidentially as well as handle Crimppi’s property with care. Announcements, press releases and other official communication regarding Crimppi cannot be made public without Crimppi’s written consent. Immaterial rights of all parties must be honoured.
Supply chain
An essential part of identifying and preventing risks from illegal businesses or non-compliance with the guidelines is choosing the right partners. Partners commit to keep complete information about all business operations, to make responsible procurements and to follow laws, and principles and demands mentioned in these guidelines.
Complying with the Guidelines
All suppliers and partners must in their operations promote fluent, confidential and responsible co-operation with Crimppi as well as work according to good principles of moral and high standard business operations. This includes invoicing according to agreements, informing about delivery specific details in an appropriate way, liabilities and see through pricing.
